It's your party. This means there should be NO surprises in terms of the music played AND the interactive style of the DJ at your event. DJ style is important: perhaps you want a high visibility, very interactive approach, perhaps you prefer a DJ with a lower profile; it's your party, you get to choose.
The perfect playlist. This needs to be done with your input. Typically, with a new client I'll try to get a feel for the kinds of music you like by asking you to give me a list of five songs you love and, just as important, five songs you don't like at all. From here I begin the process of drafting a playlist; I also compile a "DO NOT PLAY" list based on the client's requests.
I am not a performer. I show up at your party with a huge collection of music, great equipment, a smile for all I come in contact with, and, most importantly, a talent for reading the dance floor.
